Luke’s in School, in India!

2024 School year has begun for Luke at Wellington College Pune, year 10. He seems to be adjusting just fine and is happy with meeting new friends and the teachers, even the food has been great for him! He looks so handsome in his uniform. It’s worked out so far that Luke and Eric ride together early (7:30), drop Luke off and then Eric’s gets dropped at the office. Getting back home, Hanumant picks up Luke at 4:30 and heads to the office to get Eric and Tiffany. It can be quite a long ride in the evening if they are working late at the office and/or there is always terrible traffic. His school days are one hour longer here than in the US. There is a Wellington bus he can ride if the driver route has to change for Eric/Tiffany.

It’s very different and sometimes difficult to not be able to just jump in the car and go wherever, whenever! We spend a fair amount of time waiting around for the driver regardless of planning and preparing to go out. Traffic is very unpredictable and Monsoon Season makes it’s worse. We have found it’s just best to go with the flow. No one really cares or gets too excited over being late or specific appointment times.
